Turkish shipbuilder Uzmar Shipyard has recently
delivered the NB169 tugboat, named Balahu, to the Spanish shipping company
P&O Reyser, a subsidiary of DP World’s P&O Maritime Logistics. This new
tugboat is an asymmetric tractor tug, specifically designed by the Spanish ship
design firm Cintranaval, and is built to optimize manoeuvrability and efficiency
in port operations. The Balahu will play a crucial role in P&O Reyser's
operations, which focus on providing specialized maritime services, including
towing and berthing for various vessels. Its advanced design allows for
enhanced performance in challenging conditions, making it a valuable addition
to the company's fleet. This delivery underscores Uzmar Shipyard’s reputation
for quality shipbuilding and its commitment to meeting the specific needs of
its clients. By investing in state-of-the-art vessels like the Balahu, P&O
Reyser aims to further improve its operational capabilities and ensure safe and
efficient service in the maritime logistics sector. As the demand for reliable
port services continues to grow, the addition of this tugboat positions P&O
Reyser as a strong player in the industry.
