The AdSP dello Strait, the local port authority, has launched a new tender for the management of the Milazzo ferry and passenger terminal. The previous tender, which also aimed to find an operator for the terminal, failed to attract any bids. In response, the port authority has reissued the tender with a key adjustment: the minimum turnover requirement has been lowered. This change is intended to make the opportunity more accessible to potential operators and increase the likelihood of securing a successful bid.
