Oslo-listed Subsea 7 has been awarded a significant
EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and offshore installation
contract in the US Gulf of Mexico by an undisclosed client. The contract
involves a comprehensive scope of work that includes the engineering,
procurement, construction, and offshore installation of several key components:
a water injection flowline, hull piping, and associated subsea infrastructure.
Project management and engineering efforts will commence immediately at Subsea
7’s Houston, Texas office, setting the stage for the initial phases of the
project. Offshore installation activities are anticipated to begin in 2026.
Although the specific financial details of the contract were not disclosed, it
is understood that a contract of this scale would typically fall within the
range of $50 million to $150 million, based on the company's standard contract
