Sinolines is launching a new North China-Philippines (NCP) service
to strengthen shipping links between the two regions. This new service will
operate on a three-week rotation and deploy three vessels to connect key ports
including Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, and Manila. The inaugural voyage is set
to depart from Tianjin on August 22. The introduction of the NCP service is
part of Sinotrans Container Lines' broader strategy to enhance its shipping
network. Currently, Sinotrans offers three distinct services between China and
the Philippines, each connecting East China and South China with various ports
in the Philippines. By adding this new North China-Philippines route, Sinolines
aims to provide more comprehensive coverage and flexibility for shippers and
businesses engaged in trade between these regions. The NCP service is expected
to improve transit times and frequency for cargo moving between North China and
the Philippines, offering a valuable new option for importers and exporters in
these key markets. The new services offers an express direct service from North
China and seamless connection from Japan/Korea to Manila via Tianjin and
Qingdao.
