Russian President Vladimir Putin has inaugurated the new
coal terminal at Sukhodol seaport in Primorye, Russia’s Far East. This advanced
facility is set to handle up to 12 million tons of coal annually, with plans to
expand its capacity to 20 million tons in the future. The development of the
Sukhodol seaport represents a significant investment aimed at boosting Russia's
coal export capabilities and supporting economic growth in the Far East region.
The terminal is expected to enhance the efficiency of coal transportation and
solidify the seaport’s role as a crucial hub for the country's energy exports.
