Oceaneering International has signed several new contracts in the North Sea.

Oceaneering International's UK division has recently been awarded multiple contracts for various services in the UK sector of the North Sea. These contracts cover a range of activities including decommissioning, inspection, subsea preparation and installation support. The contract is awarded by several operators in the region, are set to last approximately 65 days in total, with potential options to extend the durations based on the needs of the projects. The management and execution of these contracts will be handled from Oceaneering’s North Sea hub located in Aberdeen, Scotland. The operations will utilize the multiservice vessel Island Frontier, which has previously been deployed in West Africa and the Black Sea. To ensure that the vessel remains available to meet these new demands, Oceaneering has extended its charter for the Island Frontier until December 2025. Javier Falcon, senior manager of Oceaneering’s offshore projects group for Europe and the Middle East, expressed that these new contract awards represent a significant achievement for the company. He emphasized that they align with Oceaneering’s strategic goals for growth in the North Sea and are a chance to showcase their expertise and execution capabilities in a key regional market.
