Novorossiisk Port Faces Disruptions in December Oil Loadings After Weather-Related Delays

Oil loadings from Russia's Black Sea port, Novorossiisk, in December have been revised down to 1.72 million tonnes from the initial plan of 2.14 million tonnes. The downsizing is attributed to disruptions caused by severe weather in November, leading to postponed exports. Storms and declining oil output in Kazakhstan resulted in multiple suspensions of Urals, KEBCO, and Siberian Light crude loadings last month and early December. As the Novorossiisk oil terminal resumes operations, about three cargoes from the November loading plan are yet to sail, adding to the challenges faced by the port.
