Indian investigators are pushing to restart a probe into the Adani Group over alleged overvaluation of coal imports. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has sought permission from the Supreme Court to collect evidence from Singapore, where Adani has successfully blocked the release of transaction documents related to its coal dealings. The agency suspects that Adani's coal shipments from Indonesian suppliers were billed at higher prices to its Singapore unit before being invoiced to its Indian arms. Adani denies wrongdoing, and the probe comes amid wider regulatory scrutiny and political pressure. The next hearing is scheduled for February 6.
