Deputy Minister for Social Security Konstantinos Karagkounis recently conducted a visit to the Thessaloniki Port Authority (ThPA). He was joined by Diamantis Golidakis, the Member of Parliament for Thessaloniki A, and a delegation of Ministry officials. The group was warmly welcomed by Athanasios Liagkos, the Executive Chairman of the ThPA Board of Directors. During the visit, discussions focused on various aspects of port operations, including current projects, strategic developments, and potential improvements. The delegation explored the port’s facilities and engaged in conversations about enhancing its role in regional and national economic activities. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between the port authority and government officials to support future growth and address any existing challenges.
