Deendayal Port has reached an impressive milestone by handling 60
million metric tons (MMT) of cargo faster than ever before. This achievement
highlights the exceptional teamwork and collaboration among all stakeholders
and port users. The variety of cargo managed is quite remarkable, reflecting
the port's versatility and efficiency. It includes essential goods such as
coking coal, phosphoric acid, and a range of chemicals. Fertilizer materials
like M.O.P (Finished Fertilizer) and rock phosphate are also a significant part
of the cargo mix. Additionally, the port handles iron scrap and iron ore, which
are crucial for industrial processes. Logs, rice, and Bentonite are other
important commodities passing through the port, alongside oil extract products,
silica sand, and sugar. Crude oil also plays a significant role in the port's
cargo profile. This diverse range of goods underscores Deendayal Port's
critical role in supporting various industries and meeting the demands of both
domestic and international markets. This milestone reflects not only the port's
operational excellence but also the strong partnerships and coordinated efforts
that make such achievements possible.
