On September, the heads of railway administrations from
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey signed a
comprehensive protocol aimed at enhancing international logistics cooperation.
This agreement is set to activate the CASCA+ transport corridor, which is
designed to improve and streamline transport links across the region. The
protocol also includes provisions for exchanging knowledge and best practices
in road, sea, rail, and air transport, fostering a more integrated and
efficient logistics network. The CASCA+ corridor is a strategic initiative
intended to strengthen connectivity across the Asia-Pacific region and
facilitate smoother trade and transit between these countries.
