The Port of Antwerp-Bruges has joined forces with Milence, a European electric mobility provider, to establish two significant electric truck charging hubs set to launch in May 2024. The hubs, featuring 30 charging bays initially, will utilize high-performance Combined Charging System (CCS) chargers with up to 400 kW of charging power. The collaboration aims to create green corridors for road transport, connecting key logistics hubs, major ports, and airports to accelerate the transition to electric heavy-duty trucks. The project receives support from the Flemish Ministry of Mobility and Public Works, marking a pivotal step toward sustainable transport in the region.
