Adani International Container Terminal, a joint venture at Adani Ports and SEZ in Mundra, achieved a significant milestone by handling 300,431 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) across 97 vessels in November 2023. This accomplishment breaks the company's own record of 298,634 TEUs in March 2021, making it the first terminal in India to handle 300,000 containers in a month. Adani Ports and SEZ witnessed a 42% YoY increase in cargo volumes, reaching 36 MMT (million metric tons), with growth seen in dry bulk, containers, and liquids and gas. The achievement reinforces Adani's position as a leader in the maritime industry and showcases operational efficiency. APSEZ handled 275 MMT of cargo in the initial eight months of FY24, achieving over 70% of its full-year guidance range.
