AD Ports Group has signed an agreement with Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC (Kazakhstan Railways) to establish a joint venture aimed at enhancing rail connectivity, maritime shipping services, and operations in Kazakhstan's ports. The joint venture, with 51% ownership by AD Ports Group and 49% by Kazakhstan Railways, seeks to create a dynamic regional logistics hub, leveraging expertise in operations, digital transformation, and infrastructure development. The collaboration aims to strengthen maritime connectivity between the Middle East and Central Asia, foster increased trade volumes, and contribute to the development of Kazakhstan's transport and transit potential.
