The Zupanijska Lucka Uprava (Luca county administration) has
formally announced a tender for construction works at the Adriatic leisure port
of Novi Vinodolski, amounting to 12,417,673 euros. This tender signifies a
substantial investment aimed at enhancing the port’s facilities and operational
capacity for both leisure and commercial maritime activities. In June,
Croatia’s Minister of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, highlighted the
critical importance of developing the country’s coastal infrastructure to
stimulate tourism and bolster the local economy. The construction project at
Novi Vinodolski port aligns with these objectives, contributing to the
enhancement of Croatia's maritime capabilities and supporting sustainable
development in the region. These improvements are anticipated to increase the
port's appeal as a destination and improve accessibility for vessels, thereby
fostering growth in maritime tourism and related economic activities in
Croatia.
