U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports reached the second-highest monthly production level on record in November, with 7.99 million metric tons. The U.S. remains the world's largest LNG exporter, and November's volumes were just below the record set in April. The focus of U.S. LNG exports in November continued to be on Europe, which received about 68% of total U.S. LNG shipments. However, lower temperatures in Europe are unlikely to drive higher prices due to elevated storage levels. Meanwhile, fewer U.S. LNG cargoes headed to Asia in November.
