Key Asian ports, including Singapore and Zhoushan, are grappling with tight Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) supply, causing recommended lead times of up to 18 days. Singapore is particularly affected, with loading delays in oil terminals contributing to bunker delivery vessel hold-ups. VLSFO availability challenges persist in Zhoushan, where most suppliers refrain from providing lead times. HSFO availability has improved in certain ports, but LSMGO and HSFO supply remains tight in others. The southern Chinese ports of Shanghai and Xiamen report tight prompt availability of VLSFO and LSMGO. Hong Kong faces potential bunker tightness due to forecasted wind gusts. In South Korean ports, HSFO lead times vary widely, while VLSFO and LSMGO lead times have increased. Sri Lanka's Colombo port experiences tight VLSFO and HSFO availability. In Fujairah, all grades are under pressure due to product loading delays and bunker backlogs. The Middle Eastern bunkering hub recommends 7-10 days lead times, while nearby Khor Fakkan port suggests around five days. Singapore also faces prompt HSFO supply pressure, and Enterprise Singapore notes lower residual fuel oil stocks this month.
