Tankers International, the leading shipping pool for Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), has announced a partnership with the Baltic Exchange to enhance data sharing and market insights for its VLCC Fixture app. Paid subscribers will gain access to Baltic Exchange benchmarks and forward curves, expanding the current data offering that includes bunker prices, fixing rates, laycan, demurrage, commissions, and TCE calculations. The collaboration aims to provide app users with higher-quality insights and real-time updates, supporting stakeholders in understanding global VLCC market developments. The Tankers International VLCC Fixture app, launched in 2014, is the only publicly available source of comprehensive fixture data for the global VLCC fleet. The partnership is expected to foster greater collaboration on real-time information for decision-making in the dynamic shipping market.
