Singapore and Japan have deepened their bilateral ties with a new memorandum of cooperation aimed at promoting digital and green practices in the shipping industry. The Green and Digital Shipping Corridor initiative will involve Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority collaborating with six of Japan's busiest ports to conduct trials focusing on decarbonization and digitization of the maritime sector.
