Bunker Market Update: Mixed Demand Across Americas Ports, Weather Disruptions in Gulf Coast"

Bunker demand has generally decreased across major bunkering ports in the Americas, with some exceptions. Houston has experienced increased inquiries for all grades, while tight availability of Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and Low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO) at the beginning of the week returned to normal levels. Lead times of 3-4 days are recommended for both grades. Bolivar Roads and Beaumont report normal availability, while bunkering was suspended in the Galveston Offshore Lightering Area and off Corpus Christi due to strong gale-force winds. Calmer weather is expected to allow resumption. Foggy conditions in Corpus Christi, Lake Charles, Port Arthur, Galveston, Freeport, and New Orleans Outer Anchorage may cause delays until Sunday. West Coast ports (Los Angeles and Long Beach) report good availability but low demand. New York's East Coast port notes normal availability of VLSFO and LSM
