Allcargo Gati Limited has inaugurated a cutting-edge Surface Transhipment Centre and Distribution Warehouse (STCDW) at Mayasandra, on the outskirts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Spanning 3.5 lakh sq. ft., the facility includes a Grade A warehouse of 1.5 lakh sq. ft. and 70 truck bays capable of handling over 500 vehicles daily. Positioned strategically near NH 44 and upcoming Hosur outer Ring Road, the STCDW boasts superior accessibility and proximity to rail and air transportation. It aims to serve diverse industries, offering advanced warehousing technologies, inventory management systems, and environmentally sustainable practices. This launch aligns with Gati's plan to establish 21 modern, automated, and eco-friendly STCDWs across India, emphasizing their commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
