About Us

Mauro Terrevazzi has been a cruise industry pioneer and inspiration to many around the world. He worked for more than 50 years for the Vlasov group , contributed to the development of Sitmar Cruises and then to its takeover by Princess Cruises . In 1984, he became one of the founders of the V.Ships group , which he chaired until 2003. V.Ships grew to become the world's largest ship manager for shipping companies. Terrevazzi and V.Ships also worked on the creation of the new luxury brand Silversea Cruises for an Italian investor in 1991 and later in 1997 formed a joint venture with the Carlson Group to create Radisson Seven Seas Cruises .
