1926 It all started in 1926 when José Ferreira Monteiro was appointed customs broker at the Alfândega de Santos by the head of the provisional government of the Republic Getúlio Vargas. 1949 In 1949 José Carlos Monteiro, son of José Ferreira Monteiro, takes his first steps in the same profession as his father. Ten years later, he is also appointed a customs broker by the then President of the Republic Juscelino Kubitschek. 1963 Creation of the company name SERVIMEX.
