About Us
The story of PSA Antwerp began in 2002, with the merger of two established port companies, Hessenatie and Noord Natie. Together, these two companies with centuries of experience became one of the most important players in the port of Antwerp. Immediately after the merger, the new company was acquired by PSA International, one of the largest port groups in the world specialized in container handling, based in Singapore.The PSA Group is active in port projects in Asia, Europe and America, with the main flagships being the PSA Singapore Terminals and PSA Antwerp. As the preferred port operator in all world ports, the PSA Group handles around 230,000 containers per day, which amounted to a total of 85.2 million TEUs (twenty foot equivalent units) in 2019. The terminal in Singapore accounts for just under half of this figure.
