The founders of the company are Captain KyawTheinLwin, Chairman of, Mariner Enterprises Ltd., Yangon , a leading ship manning company which was initially established in Bangkok, Thailand in 1982 and the late Colonel HlaMyint, ex- Chairman and Managing Director of Burma Ports Corporation .
