Great Lakes Logistics-Burundi SA was established in 2015 by Patrick Itangishaka, a former staff member of SDV-Transami, now Bolloré. Initially a branch of a larger company based in the United Arab Emirates, strategic changes led to its independent formation. Recognizing the need for increased competitiveness in the Burundian logistics market, Patrick expanded the company's reach by forging partnerships both regionally and globally. Today, Great Lakes Logistics-Burundi stands as a vital logistics and transportation solution for local and international clients, earning the trust of major international organizations such as JICA, the European Union, Chemonics, IOM, and the South African Embassy.
