My parents have been farmers all their lives, so as a child I realized what  “hard work”  meant. Now, after so many years, I am proud of it and it still helps me on my way!My career in this sector started in 1968 when I started as a courier at AMI, a large company that was part of the Compagnie Maritime Belge. I took care of the follow-up of all  customs documents  and helped the import department. Three years later I started working for a small  local freight forwarder & customs broker.  There I actually learned the tricks of the trade, and later as a salesman.
